I don’t think there are people who hasn’t seen Shinchan in their childhood, but if there are any, just to let them know, Shinchan, also known as Crayon Shin-chan, is a popular Japanese cartoon that follows the funny and mischievous adventures of a five-year-old boy named Shinnosuke “Shin” Nohara.
Talking about the plot, it follows everyday life of Shinchan who lives with his parents, his baby sister, and their pet dog in the city of Kasukabe. The show is known for its humor and often features Shinchan getting into all sorts of trouble, much to the frustration of his parents and teachers.
Despite his naughty behavior, Shinchan’s antics are always light-hearted and entertaining, making the show a favorite among kids and adults alike and the best part about it is this cartoon series first aired in 1992 and has since become a beloved series worldwide, with episodes dubbed in many languages.
Stories Behind Shinchan :
So, there are many fan theories behind the concept of Shinchan. But among all of those, one prominent theory is most popular which claims that Shinchan is made on a real life story of a japanese boy.
According to the theory, one day, while make food, Shinchan’s mother Misae realished that he forgot to buy some essential stuffs, so she decided to go to the supermarket and brought two kids (Shinchan & Himawari) as his dad Hiroshi wasn’t home that time.
So, while Misae was busy in shopping, Himawari went on the middle of street, and that time shinchan saw it and realised a truck is coming towards his sister, so he also jumped to save his sister, but ultimately they died.
After the incident, Misae and Hiroshi went into depression and even stopped talking themselves and that time Misae slowly started making sketch of her thinking where she lives happily with his husband and children and from which the concept of ‘Shinchan’ is taken.
Real Story of Shinchan Nohara :
Though there are many believers who think the above theory is true. But actually, it’s not true and correct. The character Shinchan who is also known as Shinnosuke Nohara is not based on any real human.
Rather he was created by Yoshito Usui, a Japanese manga artist who wanted to capture the essence of childhood and it’s playful innocence. Last Episode of Shinchan :
“Crayon Shin-chan” – the actual series name of Shinchan, is an ongoing cartoon series with over 1200 episodes. Though there are some fan-made videos about a supposed ‘last episode’ of shinchan where he met a tragic. But there is no such official episodes are there. Thus, as of now, Shinchan doesn’t have an official ending.
As we know Shinchan is based on a 5 year old extrovert boy and the whole cartoon series continues to follow the humorous and light-hearted adventures of Shinchan and his friends and family.
