Master Roshi Master Roshi Master Roshi – How many times he really died?
Master Roshi is one of the most iconic characters in Dragonball. He is the martial arts master who trained Goku and Krillin in their yearly years and there’s no doubt that he played such a big role in development of Goku’s inner power.
But now the question comes, how many times did master Roshi die in Dragonball, so as much I know, the legendary dragonball character faced death twice in different dragonball series.
The first time was during the King Piccolo Saga, in the original Dragon Ball. Telling about the incident, Master Roshi used the Mafuba (Evil Containment Wave) in an attempt to seal King Piccolo, but the strain of the technique was too much and he died in the process, however he would later brought back to life with the help of the Dragon Balls.
Later in Dragonball Super series, during the Tournament of Power, Master Roshi had another brush with death. After pushing himself to his limits in the intense battles, he collapsed from exhaustion. Fortunately, Goku was able to revive him with a powerful and heartfelt ki blast and saved him from death once again.
Despite his old age, Master Roshi possessed incredible strength and knowledge of martial arts, including powerful techniques like the Kamehameha wave, which actually he invented. He is also known more for his perverted sense of humor. So, overall Master Roshi adds somewhere a different taste in the overall Dragonball series.
