The Rising Of The Shield Hero Brief Plot
The Rising of the Shield Hero is an anime mainly about Naofumi Iwatani, a regular guy from Japan who gets summoned to a fantasy world as one of four legendary heroes. He’s chosen as the Shield Hero, but unlike the other heroes who get cool weapons like a sword, spear, or bow, Naofumi’s shield seems weak, and he’s mocked for it. Things get worse when he’s betrayed by the princess, framed for a crime, and left with nothing—no money, no trust, and no allies.
As the story progressed, Naofumi toughens up and buys a young demi-human girl named Raphtalia to fight for him. Despite their rough start, they form a strong bond, and Raphtalia becomes his loyal partner. Along with Filo, a cheerful bird-like creature who can transform into a girl, they travel the world, fighting monsters called Waves that threaten to destroy everything. With every adventure, Naofumi learns to use his shield’s powers more effectively.
As the story progressed, they realised there are many words which are facing the same problems of waves as of them. Naofumi fights both friends and foe time to time and determines to put an end to the waves that costs so many innocent lives. The whole anime is overall big and mainly focused on adventure, skill development and a good storyline.
