Even throughout the episodes we gets the true identity of Yuno, Asta’s mother and even the story of the demon resides in Asta’s antimagic black clover. But till now, the identity of Asta’s father not been shown. So, let’s decode it today with all the major fan theories and the most suitable(one according to me).

Who Is Asta’s Father in Black Clover?

So, now the main part of the article. Who is Asta’s father in black clover?🤔🤔. Here I will be explaining about all the popular fan theories made on this and beside, I will explain mine too. Then it would be on you which theory you think is most suitable. So, let’s start it.

1) Astaroth –

Some fans deeply believe that Asta is the son of Astaroth, one of the three rulers of the underground. Even when I was searching about the reasons behind this fan theory. I got one detailed explanation of a reddit user, Avato12, and that can actually blow your mind.

That reddit user gave a proper and detailed explanation behind this believe. According to him –

Asta and Liebe Both Have No Magic :

Liebe, the demon resides in the black clover of Asta had no magic when he born, he gradually develops antimagic. So, according to some fans, Asta and Liebe are the sons of Licita and Astaroth. Thus, the kids didn’t get any magic power because Licita soaked it all.

Asta and Liebe Look Similar :

Despite of Asta being a human and Liebe being a devil, they look similar. That might happened because of a mix of Licita and Astaroth, one son became devil and one became human.

Asta is Immune to Life Stealing Attacks :

If you know, while fighting with Zagred, it’s black coloured spell didn’t harm Asta but everyone else. Even Zagred confirmed that they were touched by the underworld. So, according to the author, if the spell can’t devour underworld magic then it’s likely can’t devour devils either as they come directly from underworld. This gives a strong signal that, Asta is the son of Astaroth.

Other Reasons :

The author gave some other strong reasons that you can read from here. But I didn’t notice it before, but the name of that demon Astaroth was chosen randomly or on purpose similar to the name of Asta. Is there any connection between them?🤨

2) Julius Novachrono –

There are strong believes about Julius Novachrono is Asta’s father.

Abundance of Magic and Life Force :

Julius Novachrono is known for his immense undrainable magic energy reserves and life force and this actually makes a strong reason behind Asta’s conception as Asta’s mother had a special power to drain magic and life mana from others. This gives strong reason that Julius Novachorono might be Asta’s father.

Connection to dark & antimagic :

According to some theories, Julius has more magic powers (black magic, as we have seen him in black market, but it’s just an assumption) than just of his time magic. The ability to alter time and dark magic can be somewhere linked with Asta’s antimagic.

Too Much Interest in Asta :

Throughout the series, Julius has shown deep interest in Asta. He also enquired if he could also handle the second blade. This somewhere shows a hint of deeper connection. Beside he wasn’t seem too confused about Asta’s anti magic power.

3) Asta Doesn’t has a father –

Some fans believe that Asta doesn’t has a father. Asta’s mother Lichita’s life force draining ability ultimately allowed her to give a virgin birth. Thus, Lichita might be Asta’s father and mother.

4) Unknown Person –

Some fans believe that the identity of Asta’s father isn’t revealed yet. Asta’s father might be seen in the upcoming season with a exceptional twist. Asta’s father might be a power demon or a hero, or someone, no one can dreamt of. Who knows!😉

5) Reincarnation of Lichit and Tetia’s Child –

Another theory suggest that Asta could be the child of Lichit and Tatiya. The basis of this theory is that Asta’s special power antimagic and abilities may be the result of the reincarnation. You can read full details here.

This theory looks kinda real as Asta can use all the weapons of Lichit, then Nacht also seems to be more comfortable with Asta. Sometimes, the series also indicated something like this.

But this theory clearly doesn’t stand as we know the mother of Asta but does Asta has any relation with elves? Who knows!😏

My Opinion :

While at the beginning of this article, my opinion was the same of the theory of Julius Novachrono’s relation with Asta. But after researching all, I think I will with the first theory which is of Astaroth. Astaroth might be Asta’s father.

Asta and Liebe might be the sons of Lichita and Astaroth and Astaroth wanted the kids of mixture with the special powers to find a way to go to the human world. Though this theory too has some limitations. But as of now, it looks more real.
